Senseal’s ‘permanent repair system’ is professionally applied in Melbourne by Senseal’s property maintenance service “Stop The Rot,” who specialize in timber rot repair and prevention.

Senseal is a medium size business growing out of over 25 years of experience in the building and renovations industry in Melbourne Australia. Throughout that time, John, Senseal’s managing director, constantly encountered rotten timber, poorly bonded materials and quickly deteriorating top coating. It was the way things were.

John has been searching for years for a way to overcome this situation.' In 2003 John finally found and trialed Smith & Co's wood resin based epoxy range and was amazed at the results. He immediately contacted the inventor and discovered that no one in Australia was making these products widely available. When using the products, customers and other trades people laughed saying the results were impossible to achieve. Apparently John was being duped. The product however, speaks for it self. Not only were customers and other tradespersons amazed with results, John is still discovering the range and quality of applications possible.

John was convinced that the Australian construction, marine and manufacturing industries would reap outstanding benefits from these products. It could save everyone money, resources and a lot of time. So, in late 2003, John with family and friends, established Senseal Pty Ltd, to import, distribute and apply Smith & Co's sealants and adhesives. The rest as they say, is history.

The story however, has only just begun. Everyone at Senseal is convinced that Australia is going to love these products and stands to reap substantial benefits from using them.
