Multi-Primer's advantages over other epoxy sealers…

1. MULTI-PRIMER FOR TIMBER PROTECTION
Multi-Primer is a two part epoxy which is unique for two main reasons:

  • First, because it is made from natural timber resins which give it unmatched compatibility and advantages for use on any timber; and,
  • Second, because it is dissolved in a purpose designed solvent mix that will penetrate oils, sap and moisture.

This gives Multi-Primer the following unique features:

  • It penetrates and seals deeper into any wood;
  • It permanently bonds to the wood fibres and bonds the fibres to each other;
  • Unlike any other epoxy, it retains similar flexibility to wood;
  • It chemically bonds to (glues down) any paint, varnish or urethane finish (if they applied when Multi-Primer is only half cured. Otherwise sanding is required for an ordinary strength bond when fully cured);
  • It will, unlike any other epoxy, successfully cure down to -2 degrees C;
  • It is easy to mix. Stir Part A and B together, in a ratio of 1:1; and,
  • It is easily applied with cheap bristle brushes or a roller.
    Note: In exposed situations it is advised to coat Multi-Primer with a UV resistant finish.
